Clients request HashMaps by going through the session fa ade. For example, for the use case of getting all data in an account, a client would call a getAccountData method on the session fa ade, which would return a HashMap populated with all the data in an account, as shown in Figure 2.5. Updates can be made on the same HashMap locally.
