NOTE: There is a behavior in Interface Builder some might call it a bijoux bugette that you need to be aware of. One of the current problems with the UI is that the controls take up more space than the window. All of the controls are embedded in a box control, and if you inspect the autosizing options for that box you will see that they are set to grow with the window. If you resize the window by typing in new values in the Window Size inspector tab, then unfortunately the controls end up growing too, so they are still too big for the window irritation ensues. However, if you resize the window by simply moving its drag handle at the bottom right, the embedded controls do not resize, so you get your breathing space.
