There is one small change to make to the C++ source file, CardsCpp.cpp. Replace the following line: Console::WriteLine(L"Hello World"); with CSharp::Deck::Main(); Note that as you type this, Visual C++ IntelliSense kicks in with a pop-up window and assists you. Just like C# IntelliSense, it is a context-sensitive code engine that helps you discover class members and parameter information as you type. As you can see in Figure 2-7, IntelliSense reveals the methods and fields of the CSharp::Deck class. What they are and how they are accessible are determined by the miniature icons to the left of the names. A smaller box adds more information about the selected item as well as XML document comments where available.

Data dependent routing (DDR) is a way of partitioning your data if you are writing your own application code and do not want to use either of the built-in methods within SQL Server. Instead of having SQL Server track all the data and route requests as in DPVs, with DDR the application keeps track of what data is where and subsequently routes the requests appropriately. DDR is arguably the most flexible way to partition your data, but in many ways the most complex. With DDR, you would need to have some sort of configuration file, Registry entry, or table in a database that would tell the application where the partitioned data resides. I do not recommend using a Registry entry, but I have seen it done. A file should be placed in a directory that has been

How To Open PDF File In New Tab In MVC Using C# - C# Corner
For this, I will set return type "FileResult" from MVC controller and return "File" with a byte Array of the file and its content type. Let's start coding.

PENDING_FAILOVER: You will only see this state on the principal server when it is in the process of killing user connections and becoming the role of the mirror. DISCONNECTED: You will see this state when the partners have lost connectivity with each other. Other than the PENDING_FAILOVER state, the principal server and the mirror server will always have the same state. The witness server, however, can have one of three states in correlation to either partner involved in a database mirroring session: CONNECTED, DISCONNECTED, and UNKNOWN. As long as the state of the witness is CONNECTED to one partner, there is a quorum between the witness and the partner, which allows for failover. If the witness is not connected to a partner, the state is either UNKNOWN or DISCONNECTED, and in the event of a failure, the database becomes unavailable. If you are running database mirroring with a witness, it takes at least two servers to form a quorum. If the witness is DISCONNECTED and the mirror server crashes, your database will be inaccessible even if it is the principal database. For this reason, if your witness becomes DISCONNECTED, you can turn off the witness, which disables the need for a quorum, by running the following statement ALTER DATABASE <DatabaseName> SET WITNESS OFF until you have resolved any connectivity issues between the witness and the partners. You can find information about the mirroring states, along with several other useful data points, by querying the sys.database_mirroring catalog view. Figure 2-7 shows some sample output from the sys.database_mirroring catalog view. You can tell that we ran the query on the principal database that is running FULL SAFETY. The database is synchronized with the mirror, and we are not connected to the witness.

locked down; only the application should be able to access it. You do not want anyone coming along and seeing how to get at your data. Putting the routing information in a database table is straightforward, but what happens if the database or server goes down When you employ DDR, it means the only link between your databases is the application itself and your routing table or file. If you look at Figure 13-4, it looks similar to what a DPV would look like minus the linked servers. Unlike the built-in methods of partitioning in SQL Server, it allows you to add another database or server easily since all you have to do is update your configuration file or table. Since you have the ability to update the configuration on the fly, you should incur no downtime to update your partitioning scheme. While this method of partitioning can potentially be a lot of work, it could also be very rewarding.
