About Tesseract There are several things we need to do to prepare for developing our application. We will start by creating the directory structure we need to support the software development and then copying the files we need into the appropriate directories. This project will build on source code introduced in previous chapters, so we need to copy those classes so that they are available to our new classes. It is helpful to have a predefined directory structure when starting on any project involving EJB development. A sample directory structure is provided here. You should create a similar directory structure and copy the needed files into the proper directories DIRECTORY /chapter14/. WHAT IT CONTAINS Serves as the base directory for all files and subdirectories. The ant build.xml and the final deployment .war file are all located in this directory.
